Just something I’ve been meaning to do for a while. I’m quite a sentimental guy, my room is filled with stuff that remind me of times been and gone. There are things like cinema tickets (loads), receipts, beer bottles, posters, a warhammer figurine, a galaxy box (empty, sad face), a shoelace, pictures, trophies, a paperbag, of course a diary and other random things. And then I have the letters. There aren’t many of these ofc, but from time to time I tend to reread them along with old diary entries for reasons I’m not too sure of to be honest. Nostalgia? To reminisce? Maybe, but I think it’s more to remind of where I’ve been in comparison to where I am now. To help me focus on the present (ironically) so that the cloudy future doesn’t seem so daunting when things change unexpectedly, when you’re not sure what to make of what’s to come.
